RE: BECOME A FRIEND OF MSGR NGOBYA NURSERY &PRIMARY SCHOOL.
I greet you in the Lord’s name and hereby introduce myself to you, I am Matilda Annet Nakaggwa founder and Director of Msgr. Ngobya Nursery and Primary School located in Kagganda Mbarara Road Lwengo district.
a) HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL:
Ngobya Memorial Primary School started in 2009 by Nakaggwa Matilda Annet. She was raised in an impoverished family and really struggled to get educated. She struggled with casual labor, got a helping hand
through bursaries and generous people especially religious sisters. She was a school dependent at her younger stages of education was later taken on by the Combon sisters who funded her higher
education and this saw her graduate as a midwife.
God on her side, she attained a job but the spirit of the needy children living in a similar childhood like she lived in kept haunting her. By 2008, with nothing to start with, the dream to help the needy
children and orphans was fastly growing in her. In 2009, she was wholly determined to start a primary school which would later have her aching desire catered for.
Off her little salary, she rented two commercial rooms in Nkoni Trading center and this is where the school really started with only 9 children and 2 teachers, one qualified and the other not qualified. Lucky enough, the people who joined her took stake in her dream and they worked as a
team to manage all chores.
The enrollment was humbly rising and at a later stage,we had to locate another place as this could not accommodate us anymore The new location was also in Nkoni but with wider space and this attracted more students, full primary was born.
Miraculously her call was answered through TheresaPilplod from Sweden who single-handedly bought the big land at Kagganda-Lwengo district where the school is situated as of now.
b) SET UP:
This School comprises of Nursery and Primary, girls and boys, day and boarding taking on learners from all areas of the World and of all religious denominations. As you will see in our aims, big plan was to have the needy children who are missing out on education getting catered for and we are definitely scoring high here as majority of our students are hailing from impoverished families and on bursaries.

c) AIMS OF THE SCHOOL:
1. To embrace needy children

3. To bring up children who are God-fearing.
4. To enhance pupil’stalents through co-curricular activities.
5. To educate an all-round pupil with innovative skills.
6. To make children aware of their day-to-day rights.
7. To empower the girl child.
8. To groom a happy child.
9. To create HIV awareness.
d) ACHIEVEMENTS
1. The school is fully licensed and registered with the Ministry of Education and sports.
2. The school managed to acquire its own land with a title through “Pilplod Theresa” of Sweden.
3. Construction of permanent structures is underway .
4. Rising number of students.
5. We have a stable qualified staff .
6. We boast of the good performance within the region.
7. We have a helping hand of sponsors from Belgium represented by “Jos Deforche”
8. We have participated in community outreach programs to improve social life.
e) FUTURE PLANS
1. Construction of more dormitories to house the rising numbers of students.
2. Construction of a multipurpose building to comprise of a dining and Kitchen, prayer place, and a main hall.
3. Procurement of a school bus .
4. Excavating a borehole as a water back up.
5. Solar installation as a power back-up.
6. Enhance our IT Department.
7. Construction of an Administration structure.
8. Purchase of a brass band .
9. Construct a school clinic that will in turn benefit the entire community as well.
10. Install CCTV cameras to beef up security.
11. Construction of a perimeter wall.
12. To enrich our school library.
13. Train hands-on skills.

We well know how the entire World is held in tough times as an end result of Covid 19 and the aftermaths but kindly request you to
spare something out of your budget and reach out to these needy children both financially and material wise. Whatever you send out to them will definitely help pushto the next day and chances to transform their lives will be hiked.
